Jonathan Meiburg og Will Sheff voru saman í Okkervil River en ákváðu að stofna hliðarsveitina Shearwater sem var outlet fyrir aðra tegund af tónlist en Okkervil River var að spila enda voru lögin meira og minna eftir Meiburg. Nú er Meiburg hættur í Okkervil River og Sheff hættur í Shearwater en samt eru allir vinir. Magnað!

3. Smashing Pumpkins - Porcelina Of The Vast Oceans

Þegar ég var unglingur dýrkaði ég og dáði Smashing Pumpkins og hlustaði á Mellon Collie And The Infinite Sadness svo oft frá byrjun til enda að ég get enn sungið orðrétt með öllum lögunum. Mér finnst sú plata reyndar enn mjög góð þó svo að Smashing Pumpkins hafi misst sjarmann fyrir löngu síðan.

2. Echo And The Bunnymen - Seven Seas

Alltaf þegar ég hlusta á Echo And The Bunnymen eða heyri yfirleitt minnst á þá þá dettur mér í hug senan í High Fidelity þegar Barry er að hrella viðskiptavin:
